So I'm a bit confused. The link here: http://people.canonical.com/~arges/lp1107642.3/ is a kernel build from the 3.5.0-33 git sources + the backported d1f9809ed1315c4cdc5760cf2f59626fd3276952 commit. Which is what you were indicating, can you ensure you tested with the above kernel and it booted properly into the right kernel? Perhaps check uname -a to see if the string matches. Thanks
