Xfce 4.2 changelog says "Freedesktop specifications compliance for menu and
icons themes" (http://www.xfce.org/release_notes/4.2_changelog.html).
And Crossoffice creates it's own category, not registred in the fd.o list. If I
understand correctly, this is actually a bug in Crossoffice .desktop files.
