Public bug reported:
The current build of 13.10 (for the last 6 weeks at least) has broken
the dialog specifying what to do when the lid is closed... it now always
suspends regardless of the setting. This is anoying when on mains power
or when deliberately disabling suspend while playing music or a voice
call.... carrying an open laptop is not always possible and suspending
is not always desired.
To answer the questions below:-
ames@xwing:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch)
Release: 13.10
james@xwing:~$ date
Fri Jun 7 18:56:54 BST 2013
I'm not certain what package this is.
I set the menu item to "Do nothing", and when I closed the lid, it
suspended... I "expected" it to "Do nothing" :p
