I'm not sure if this is related, but I can still reproduce a GPU hang (which results in no graphics acceleration and a lot of "intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/Output error" messages terminating programs) by running cairo-dock in direct OpenGL mode (indirect works fine...). However, a lot of other things that would previously cause this crash (high GPU load, cairo-dock in indirect-rendering, Google Gravity demo running in Firefox, ...) now work fine. :-)
