This bug affects Raring as well. I have a BCM4313 in my netbook. It worked perfectly in Quantal with 5.100.82.112. I upgraded to Raring, which upgraded it to 6.20.155.1, which is unusable. I installed 5.100.82.112 from Quantal and it works perfectly again.
This driver must be split and older chipsets must use 5.100.82.112. This is a major regression. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1154219 Title: Older Broadcom chipsets require older driver [Raring, Saucy] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1154219/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
