Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs + + https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2 In your otherwise useful documentation, I found two errors: 1. It appears that menu.lst has been changed to grub.cfg in /boot/grub. I had to look hard to find it on my Ubuntu10.10 system. 2. Once you have updated /etc/fstab, you also need to do the following: chroot / (or rather the mount location) ; update-initramfs -u. Otherwise your changes are not taken further into account. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/759485 Title: /boot/grub/menu.lst must be /boot/grub/grub.cfg To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/759485/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
