Hello, refer to https://help.ubuntu.com/13.04/serverguide/samba-
printserver.html, or simply samba.xml in saucy serverguide. Can
somebody test this between a Windows and Ubuntu machine?

I followed all of the directions in the "Samba Print Server"
documentation for 10.04, in order to share my ubuntu printer with a
Windows Vista client. After following the instructions, I could see my
printer in Vista, and was able to add it, but Vista could not print to
it. I then found a page with slightly different instructions, and they
worked. In addition to what the Ubuntu documentation describes, I also
made the following edits to smb.conf get print sharing fully
operational:
In the Printing section:
load printers = yes
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
In the Printers section:
use client driver = yes
printable = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
security = share
Print sharing is a very basic function that should be easy to use, and
it is very frustrating when the official instructions don't work; it
makes one wonder if the fault lies with ubuntu itself.
