Run today's Ubuntu GNOME Saucy daily image.
In the live session, no applications show in the Activities Overview in
the All Applications area or in the "dash" sidebar.
Manually started apps (from Alt+F2 or by opening a terminal first with
Ctrl+Alt+T) do show up in the Activities Overview as running apps.
