Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, it is not clear from your bug report what
the problem is that you are reporting.
Did you expect:
1. Old kernels to indeed be uninstalled from your system? or
2. The program to simply exit and do nothing but without a crash?
If (1), then this is really an Ubuntu support question about removing
old kernel packages, and this is not the correct command.
If (2), then I can confirm that this has been fixed upstream and a newer
version of yum-utils (which I am working on packaging for Debian and
Ubuntu) does fix the crash.
