hello once more

There is something that I do not understand in the way displayconfig-gtk
creates the new xorg.conf (Probably it's because I'm not capable of
coding anything :) )

What i don't understand is how the modes to be used are chosen

My first idea was that xrandr defined those modes, but the output of
"xrandr --prop" (seen attached file) doesn't give the answer used for
creating the dcg xorg.conf file.

I've tried to find the answer in the code (downloaded at
packages.ubuntu.com) but my knowledge is too deficient to help me
understanding exactly how it works

note : you are not obliged to answer my message, it's a good exercice
for me to keep on trying by myself

note2 : please don't take care of my surely deficient grammar, but I'm
trying to do as few mistakes as possible

note3 : thanks once again for your good job
