Ok, I managed to recreate it once this morning running Gutsy Herd 3 (from the CD) by shutting down all net related stuff, copying leases from HD installed Feisty then restarting all the net services. I'll try it a couple of more times to be sure. On restarting network-manager I note a few things crashing which don't on Feisty, I'll need to investigate those further.
Have network-manager, ifupdown, etc changed much since Herd 3 is it worth trying with a daily live? -- Loss of DNS shortly after startup because /etc/init.d/networks isn't ignoring interfaces marked as roaming https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125662 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
