Public bug reported:
The variable "DAEMON_ARGS" in /etc/init.d/carbon-cache contains "--
logdir=/var/log/carbon/" which causes carbon-cache to ignore the
settings in the configuration file /etc/carbon/carbon.conf.
As far as I'm aware, there is no clean way to override this short of
editing the file.
