There's no need to test the 3.10 snapshots, they are currently built with HOTPLUG_PCI_ACPI=n (fallout from [0] landing in 3.10).
[0]: commit 6037a803b05eef9943fb64982e19964007fb7478 Author: Jiang Liu <[email protected]> Date: Fri Apr 12 05:44:25 2013 +0000 PCI: acpiphp: Convert acpiphp to be builtin only, not modular Convert acpiphp to be builtin only, with no module option. Previously, when HOTPLUG_PCI_ACPI=m, users could disable acpiphp by removing the module or preventing it from loading. That can't be done if acpiphp is builtin statically, so this adds an "acpiphp.disable" kernel parameter. If a user needs to use this parameter, it is a bug, and we want to hear about it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1006765 Title: 1033:0194 Hot plugging USB3.0 express card Not possible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1006765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
