I've just uploaded matplotlib 0.90.1-2ubuntu1.
The dependecies are python-numpy (>= 1:1.0.3) | python-numeric-ext |
python-numarray-ext and it suggest packages from texlive.
So I consider this bug as fixed.
Please reopen if the problem still persist.
