As noted, I have been running with `apic=debug` in order to boot past a KP tied to my use of `notsc clocksource=acpi_pm`. I have not had any indications of issues for five (5) days (gradually drifting clock, occasional unresponsiveness to ping, CPU hard lock messages in dmesg), so I'm leaning toward 'fixed upstream'.
That said, I cannot boot without apic=debug set, so I'll leave it to you to decide if this is truly 'fixed upstream'. Please let me know if there is any further testing I can perform which may be of assistance. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189565 Title: Random CPU hard locks on Intel D101GGC w/12.04 Server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1189565/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
