I used teh Ubuntu Software Center to install it - therefore I can't say if there was a problem during istallation. Therefore I used now the manual installation via "sudo dpkg -i ...". I could not see any problems (error messages) - but the result is the same in the AlsaInfo output: "Driver version: 1.0.24" In the attachment you see the output of the manual installation - perhaps it helps...
