Google Chrome, the most popular web browser on the planet is not
available by default in the Software Center. This is just ashame. It is
great that Ubuntu comes pre-packaged with all the latest and greatest
opensource software, but the popular proprietary softwares need to be
easily accessible as well, and the closest alternative to Google Chrome,
known as the web browser Chromium available in the Software Center is
never in a stable-state: It's always in development, in an "alpha" or
"beta"-like state, features constantly changing which can be a serious
security risk for those Ubuntu users in the Target Audience range that
just want a simple web browser that synchronizes with their Google
account in full.

I know it's a licensing issue with Google and Adobe to prepackage or
redistribute their softwares, but there is a get-around if you just
include the official Google PPA by default with Ubuntu to fix this
issue.

Bring Chrome to the Software Center. It is the most popular web browser,
used directly by Ubuntu's Target Audience, the General Public.
