Public bug reported:
I noticed that when you right click the Gnome desktop, select "Create
document" and then click "new file" the file is automatically created on
the default monitor, regardless of which desktop you have selected to
place the new file.
It seems to happen every single time and I have not been able to figure
out any sort of work-around.
