Another use case affected by this bug: I'm in a library right now and
the wireless connection is not so stable.

So sometimes I need to right click at the wireless connection icon, and
disable wireless networking. After that I enable and my laptop finds a
better route to the wireless router.

Without the ability to right click that icon (wired/wireless connection
applet) it's more difficult for newcomers to enable/disable/reenable
their connections.
