Why has this not been fixed yet? It was reported in Dapper, and a fix
was supposedly released. The permissions for /dev/fuse are wrong on a
machine that has a fresh install of Ubuntu Feisty and even this machine,
which is running Kubuntu Gutsy. Having root:root permissions on
/dev/fuse defeats the whole purpose of FUSE! Surely altering the
default permissions is an easy, if not trivial task!
