I tested 3.9-raring kernel yesterday and was unable to build wireless module ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1192850 ).
I've just tried 3.10-rc6-saucy one and got the same issue (build log is attached). Also I've tried fresh install ubuntu 12.10 with 3.5.0-17 kernel and there was no such freezes (in 13.04 I had up to 3 freezes in 30 minutes, in 12.10 I had no freezes in about 8 hours). ** Attachment added: "bcmwl_6.20.155.1+bdcom_build_make.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1192839/+attachment/3708616/+files/bcmwl_6.20.155.1%2Bbdcom_build_make.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1192839 Title: Random system freeze in 13.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1192839/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
