I tested 3.9-raring kernel yesterday and was unable to build wireless
module ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1192850 ).

I've just tried 3.10-rc6-saucy one and got the same issue (build log is
attached).

Also I've tried fresh install ubuntu 12.10 with 3.5.0-17 kernel and
there was no such freezes (in 13.04 I had up to 3 freezes in 30 minutes,
in 12.10 I had no freezes in about 8 hours).
