The attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt indicates a problem during
installation, specifically for emacs-snapshot.

I have a hunch that emacspeak has a hard-coded list of emacs variants it
will support, which does not include emacs-snapshot, but this is just
conjecture.

Alternatively, this may be due to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=688223 although I don't know how exactly.
