The attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt indicates a problem during installation, specifically for emacs-snapshot.
I have a hunch that emacspeak has a hard-coded list of emacs variants it will support, which does not include emacs-snapshot, but this is just conjecture. Alternatively, this may be due to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=688223 although I don't know how exactly. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #688223 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=688223 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975876 Title: package emacspeak (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacspeak/+bug/975876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
