I'd like to have your suggestions about a possible temporary solution, at least for me, to this bug. I have a NP770Z5E and I wouldn't like to brick it. What about to install linux and place the /boot partition on an external SD card (setting the boot order of SD at the top) and the rest of the system on the HD ? Is this solution possible , or is it bricking the laptop ?
