Public bug reported:
When lxpanel crashes then restarts, there are no items in the Menu,
except for Run and Logout. Everything else is missing. Attached is the
file ~/.cache/lxsession/Lubuntu/run.log.
Upon viewing the log file, the exit code 139 crops up a bit, which, with
googling, is the exit code for a segmentation fault that usually happens
when a program accesses memory it's not allowed to access (I think).
The very last exit code is 15. Restarting it with lxpanelctl restart
didn't seem to do anything so I killed lxpanel and manually restarted it
and the menu had items in it again, although I had to manually restart
twice before the menu was not empty:
