Using saucy:
- run gnome-control-center
- unlock the dialog
- try changing the password for another user that yours
result: the password you enter is not valid to log in...
The issue is that accountsservice use an crypt(3) password (which is
understood by "usermod"'s command line) and is giving that to the
helper, the helper is going through the pam stack to change the password
though ... and that's asking for a non encrypted password.
