could please answer the following questions from Kevin, thanks!
* Probably an mplayer issue, as it was playing cached data. Assuming you
are using pulseaudio in gnome-mplayer? please report the version of
mplayer and pulseaudio you are using.
* Are you sure it is stop you are clicking? As stop should reset the
media position to the start. Pause will pause and restart playback at
the current position.
