The ubuntu deb build applies this patch and some related ones that make
the theme monochrome:

Tried but didn't work out how to use original omni.ja content from
~/.thunderbird/

Seems like the monochrome theme should be a separate bundled theme, the old
one could be there as an alternative in some way.
