** Description changed: == Raring SRU Justification == Intel has requested the following patch be included for Raring to add support for Intel Avoton SoC's. The patch is currently in the linux- next tree and should land in v3.11. Please consider applying this as a pre-stable patch for Raring. We should also apply to Saucy for good measure. The risk of regression should be minimal as it is only adding new chipset info and device id's. Ideally Intel wants this to land in Raring prior to the 12.04.3 point release on Aug 22 (ie hit the SRU cadence the week of Aug 1). == Fix == + Clean cherry-pick into Saucy and a straight forward backport for Raring. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/next/linux-next.git commit 8477128fe0c3c455e9dfb1ba7ad7e6d09489d33c Author: James Ralston <[email protected]> Date: Thu May 9 12:38:53 2013 -0700 mfd: lpc_ich: Add support for Intel Avoton SoC This patch adds the LPC Controller Device IDs for Watchdog and GPIO for Intel Avoton SoC, to the lpc_ich driver.
