Although the vmalloc error disappears in 3.10, one cannot consider that this kernel properly supports my Lenovo W520: - sounds quality is poor (particularly in Skype) - shutting down properly is impossible.
I hope someone will find the root cause of all this. Being stuck with a kernel installed manually from a previous distribution is really not a wanted situation. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191688 Title: vmalloc failure on Lenovo W520 with Ubuntu 13.04 32b To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1191688/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
