Hi, my laptop is frequently crashing but I this is the first time that I realize a relation with alsa. Most of the time the problems are related with "SIGSEGV". From my search over internet, apparently, the problems are related with the video drivers. I do not know how to reproduce this particular crash. The model is SAMSUNG NP300E4E, I was happy with my old Toshiba but died. Hugo
