Verified with 12.10 and 13.04
The "safely remove" option was gone, thus the card reader itself won't be
removed.
But the icon of the inserted media card still using the icon of USB
drive, instead of media cards.
BTW, these two card reader, Realtek [0bda:0129] and Alcor [058f:6362], do have
similar issues.
