No that didn't fix it but I had the brilliant idea to pay some more
attention to the actual error messages. Turns out I shot myself in the
foot when I decided to safe some disk space a couple of weeks ago. Deep
down in my gut I knew it was a stupid idea to merge all identical files
by hardlinking them. Anyway, by "unhardlinking" the files that produced
errors, I could eventually fix the problem.
