I had a similar issue with my Asus ux32vd zenbook prime laptop. This problem affected windows as well as linux, the only way I was able to resolve this is by pulling the cmos battery *(there was no cmos jumper) waiting and waiting a while before putting it all back together again.
Reset to defaults from within the uefi bios menus did not work. The only way to fix this was a full cmos clear by pulling the battery. Can someone else please attempt my uefi wipe fix to verify if this is a widespread issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1091838 Title: ubuntu hangs up at shutdown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1091838/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
