I managed to trigger this bug in Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS 64-bit, clean install (VM).
First round of updates completed, machine restarted, second round of updates began and /usr/bin/update-manager crashed (see attached). Workaround was sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install python and I was then able to continue using the Update Manager GUI. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/871430 Title: update-manager crashed with python in _run_in_dialog(): Depends: python-minimal (= 2.7.2-7ubuntu1) но 2.7.2-7ubuntu2 уже установлен To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/871430/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
