Hi Jeremy, I'm using Enterprise Login for some months now, so I can give you a feedback. As far as I see, it doesn't work the way you think or I thought. Enterprise Login has no impact on the way you log in into the system. It is just a way to get an authentication token on the AD.
Here are the steps I work with Enterprise Login: - Log into my Ubuntu workstation with my local credentials - Go to System Settings -> GOA - If the AD (Enterprise Login) credentials have been expired, just update them by clicking "Log In" -> That's all, I can browse my company network shares. My main problem is the AD credentials get expired about once a day, and I have to run these steps every day, a bit annoying. But it works pretty well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1176841 Title: Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 doesn't install the realmd package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1176841/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
