Binary package hint: kpowersave
KPowerSave just continued to show "plugged" icon, though I explicitly requested
it to show status.
acpi detects it correctly:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ acpi -a
Battery 1: charged, 97%
AC Adapter 1: on-line
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ acpi -a
Battery 1: discharging, 97%, remaining
AC Adapter 1: off-line
And BTW I saw no KDE applet to control battery status by default.
