Public bug reported:
in wireless, cannot connect when password has odd number of characters.
consistent across many hot spots.
gaining access to a hot spot, here is the router setup:
d-link DSL-2750U (used throughout Vientiane)
WPA Mode: WPA Only
WPA passphrase: oddnumberofcharacters (>=9)
WPA Group Rekey Interval: 0
WPA/WAPI Encryption: TKIP+AES
if the password is changed to have an even number of characters,
connection works as expected
I think this same bug effects Android - saw some smartphones unable to
connect. Mac and PC users able to connect successfully.
