It looks like the suspend resume problem has been fixed as I have tried suspending ad resumeing about 5 times and everything seems normal. I am not sure which update over the past day or so fixed the problem but so far so good. I am using the 3.11 rc1 kernel still and the Graphics driver is Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.2, 256 bits) which is not what it was .
