Please sync check 0.9.10-4 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* debian/rules
- Set PTHREAD_LIBS so the pkgconfig gets the necessary
linker depends (LP: #1194126)
This issue was fixed in 0.9.10-3.
