It seems that cups-browsed has a memory leak letting it pick up more and
more memory with the time and not releasing it. On a machine where cups-
browsed is running for several days I also see cups-browsed occupying a
high amount of memory.  If I restart cups-browsed, it disappears from
the top memory consumers.

So please restart cups-browsed ("sudo restart cups-browsed") as a quick
workaround and observe whether memory consumption grows in the next
days.
