I am not sure what the problem is here. Did you contact Duncun, or the Gramps
User list, and get the help that you needed? Can we close this bug in that case?
If not:
Which view or report are you trying to use to see the "decendant line"? If you
want to see your ancestors (either adopted or natural), then it would seem to
be better to use an ancestry view/report rather than a descendant one. To see
your siblings, Aunts/Uncles and cousins it is best to use a descendant view
starting the view from your grandparents.
To understand your problem, we need to know exactly what view or report you
were using, what you expected to see, and what you actually saw.
