Hi,
Looking at the package for Gramps 3.3.1-1, python-pygoocanvas was not set as a
dependency. For the latest Gramps 3.4.0-1, it is set as a "Suggested" package,
so I assume this problem is fixed in the latest version.
I assume you tried "sudo apt-get install python-pygoocanvas", and that fixed it?
