I just did a fresh install of openacs and related aolserver packages.
Got error described in [Bug 1183157].

and when fixed through manual placement of previous version (lucid)
files

find Ns_DbDriverInit in /usr/lib/aolserver4/bin/nspostgres.so
[24/Jul/2013:14:06:02][7517.3074365120][-main-] Error: dbdrv: failed to load

pool 'pool1'
again could be resolved with manual placement of previous version
(lucid) files in respective directories: /usr/lib/aolserver4/bin/ and
/usr/lib/aolserver4/lib/
