Public bug reported:
What works: starting Xpdf: GUI comes up and works. I can select a PDF to
open and it shows up (all I see, which is the first page, is rendered
correctly as far as I can perceive it in the twinkling of an eye).
Where it breaks: immediately after rendering is finished, a segfault
occurs (see attachments for complete gdb stacktrace).
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00007ffff7795590 in GooHash::hash(GooString*) () from
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpoppler.so.19
Analogous behaviour when launching xpdf with file to open as command
line parameter.
A query at the local LUG indicates that some users observe the same
error while others can use xpdf with no problems at all.
Platform is an up-to-date AMD64 Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS.
