How is your keyboard connected to your PC: PS/2, USB, USB wireless
(Bluetooth), ...
2. Attach the information from
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingHardwareDetection in seperate attachments.
3. Attach your keyboard section from /etc/X11/xorg.conf
4. Attach the output of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
on a terminal.
