I have a second screen attached to my laptop. When I open a Java Swing
application (like jedit) on this second screen then no tooltips appear
when I move my mouse over the icons. The tooltips do appear when I move
my application to the primary screen (my laptop screen). I tried also to
make my attached screen the primary screen, using the NVIDIA settings
manager. But this did not help. I think this bug was introduced with the
latest Compiz update in Ubuntu 13.04.
