Maybe it shouldn't have used proposed but still, why doesn't libav do
the extra build in a timely fashion?
I honestly don't get it & this isn't the first time extra packages lag
(significantly) behind the 'regular' ones.

As far as vlc it'll be fine with any of them, 0.8.6/7, whatever it's
built off of.

(- for curiousity sake put up a libav-extra (6:0.8.7-1ubuntu1) build in
a testing ppa, vlc is fine with it.
Add. why libav-extra is not version-ed the same as libav is also unclear
here, I see no issue
