I'm using latest Kubuntu Gutsy and automount was totally broken a few days ago. It used to work just fine then I saw some new KDE packages with comments like this one:
kdebase (4:3.5.7-1ubuntu14) Drop kubuntu_73_nomediaioslave_mounthelper.diff, kubuntu_76_kickermedia.diff and kubuntu_83_media_desktop.diff: as it's been decided to switch back to the standard media:/ protocol, as /media create as many problems as it resolves... After that, automount was totally broken. I get a new device in /dev but no popup and nothing in /media or media:/. I can mount the usb devices manually though but I would like my automount back :) -- Gutsy - Kubuntu - USB Flash Drive does not automount https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
