Public bug reported:

When I enter the boot option editing screen from the main Grub 2 screen on my
laptop and I press and hold Down, the cursor moves further and further down
even when I release Down, as somewhat expected. But when it reaches the first
empty line after the boot options and apparently continues attempting to move
downwards, the screen freezes (I can't move the cursor anymore) and the fan
spins up, and that's the way it stays. I'll try leaving the screen alone for a
bit more and report back, and also whether other buttons still work.
When I move the cursor to the first empty line in single-step increments and
then press Down, nothing happens as expected and the cursor stays responsive.
