I recently updated the firmware on my Lenovo G580 (Bluetooth being
broken with the old one), and now I can only boot 13.04 (installed as
well as Live USB) with nomodeset enabled. Even with that option, I seem
to be stuck on software rendering, can't change the screen brightness,
and trying to switch to a VT only freezes the system on a solid gray
screen, but I guess that's something for separate bug reports. GPUs:
Intel HD 4000; Nvidia GT 635M (Optimus, normally unused).
